Day 1: Johannesburg to Coffee Bay

Flight to Mthatha & Transfer to the Wild Coast

Begin your journey at OR Tambo International Airport, where you board your scheduled flight to Mthatha (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, meet your ACT Tours representative and embark on a private road transfer through the scenic Eastern Cape toward Coffee Bay (approximately 1.5–2 hours).

Arrive and check into your accommodation, situated within easy reach of the dramatic coastline. Take the afternoon to relax on Coffee Bay Main Beach, enjoy a refreshing swim, or wander along the shoreline for stunning ocean and cliffside views.

Dinner will be served at your accommodation, followed by a restful evening as you settle into the tranquil rhythm of the Wild Coast.

Day 2: Hole-in-the-Wall Coastal Hike

After breakfast, begin your guided coastal hike to one of the Eastern Cape’s most renowned landmarks: Hole in the Wall. This moderate 9 km trail combines rolling hills, clifftop paths, and sweeping ocean vistas, culminating in a close-up view of this natural rock formation steeped in local Xhosa folklore.

A light lunch will be served along the way. After completing your hike, return by scenic vehicle transfer.
