From guided sunset safaris to self-drive exploration, this adventure promises both tranquillity and exhilaration in South Africa’s untamed bushveld.
DAY 1 – JOURNEY TO MARAKELE & SUNSET SAFARI
Your journey begins at ACT Tours HQ in Boksburg, where you meet your driver and fellow travellers before departing comfortably into the bushveld.
En Route Pick-Ups:
• Midrand — Engen Big Bird Service Station (N1)

Lunch will be taken at a suitable local spot (own expense).
As evening approaches, embark on a SANParks-led sunset safari — a 3-hour guided drive offering your first chance to encounter elephants, rhinos, lions and other magnificent wildlife as dusk settles over the bushveld.
Return to the lodge for a wholesome dinner and a peaceful evening under star-lit skies.
DAY 2 – FULL-DAY SELF-DRIVE SAFARI EXPLORATION

• Ample wildlife viewing opportunities along expansive plains and mountain passes
After a rewarding day in nature, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful evening surrounded by the sounds of the bush.
