• Meet at PNP Towers, East Rand Mall at 07:30 AM
• Depart Boksburg and begin your scenic journey toward the Midlands Meander

A True Escape into Nature — Oribi Gorge with ACT Tours
I just returned from ACT Tours’ “Majestic Journey to Oribi Gorge,” and I honestly feel refreshed, inspired, and a little bit in awe of what South Africa has to offer. This wasn’t just a tour — it was an experience that blended stunning landscapes, thrilling activities, and just the right amount of downtime.
We started in Boksburg and made our way to the Midlands Meander, where the peaceful scenery and cozy accommodation set the tone perfectly. I loved how well-paced everything was — even the coffee and lunch stops gave us a moment to relax and connect with others on the trip.
The next day included a stop at Howick Falls (which is way more impressive in person than in pictures) before we reached Oribi Gorge. The views there are out of this world — Leopard Rock and Overhanging Rock gave us plenty of photo ops, and standing on the edge gave me chills (in a good way!).
Day 3 was the adrenaline highlight — the Wild Gorge Swing! I was terrified, but I did it, and it was the most exhilarating 2 seconds of my life. Even those who didn’t jump had a blast watching and exploring the surrounding cliffs and trails.
Then came Lake Eland Game Reserve, and it was a perfect mix of excitement and calm. The zipline stretched across the gorge in a way that made you feel like you were flying, and the game drive was full of beautiful sightings — giraffes, antelope, and more. Ending the day with a walk across the suspension bridge while the sun was setting? Just magical.
Every detail — from transport to accommodation to the guided stops — was handled with care. The guides were friendly, informative, and genuinely passionate. I left with new friends, unforgettable memories, and a deep appreciation for South Africa’s wild beauty.
