DAY 1 – BOKSBURG → DRAKENSBERG CENTRAL | ARRIVAL & FALCON RIDGE EXPERIENCE

Your journey begins in the morning as we depart from Boksburg toward the breathtaking Drakensberg mountains. Enjoy a scenic drive through rolling countryside before arriving in Central Drakensberg by midday.

Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and take some time to settle in. Enjoy the serenity surrounding your lodge — take a gentle walk, relax on the deck, or explore the nearby nature paths.

In the late afternoon, we make our way to the Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre for a memorable wildlife encounter. Enjoy an educational and entertaining bird presentation where raptors take flight against a mountain backdrop. Learn about conservation efforts and the role of these majestic birds in the ecosystem.

Return to your lodge for dinner (included). Spend the evening relaxing at leisure.

DAY 2 – CANOPY ADVENTURE | OPTIONAL LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Start the day with breakfast before we head out for an exhilarating treetop experience.

The Drakensberg Canopy Tour offers a thrilling and scenic adventure through mountain forest — glide between platforms suspended high above the valley floor and enjoy expansive views of the surrounding peaks.

After your canopy adventure, enjoy leisure time for rest or optional activities (own expense). Options include:
• Horse riding through quiet mountain trails
• Scootours mountain descent adventure

Alternatively, spend the afternoon enjoying your lodge facilities, exploring the natural surroundings, or relaxing with a book.

Dinner (included) will be served at your accommodation or at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 3 – STERKFONTEIN DAM | RETURN TO BOKSBURG

After breakfast and check-out, we begin the journey back toward Boksburg.
Along the way, we stop at Sterkfontein Dam — a peaceful and scenic setting located near the KwaZulu-Natal/Free State border.

Spend time walking along the shoreline, photographing the views, or simply taking in the tranquil environment.

Enjoy a late lunch at a nearby restaurant (own expense) before proceeding with the final stretch back to Boksburg.

Arrive in the late afternoon, concluding your Drakensberg getaway.
